The winners of the contest "Lagazuoi Winning Ideas Mountain Awards 2024" have been announced.
We celebrate the excellence in innovation, products and services that make the mountain a cutting-edge place!
Here are the winners for each category:
Category Services and Apps: SkiLife Valle D'Aosta.
Special praise to SkiLife Valle D'Aosta, the winner in the category Services and Apps!
Everyone knows the great ski areas of the Aosta Valley, but far from the radar remain many hidden gems to discover. Magic Skipass connects 1,426 km of slopes served by 417 lifts in the areas of Antagnod, Brusson, Chamois, Champorcher, Cogne, Crévacol, Gressoney-Saint-Jean, La Magdeleine, Ollomont, Rhêmes-Notre-Dame and Valgrisenche. The proposal combines a low-cost rate valid for six days - spending a maximum of 3 days in the same location - as well as an hour of ski lessons and a night in the hotel for two Under 18.
Category Food and Wine: Agriturismo Cortivo Pancotto.
The award for excellence in food and wine goes to Agriturismo Cortivo Pancotto.
In 2005 Luca Pancotto and his wife Sonia left the city to realize a dream, to become farmers. They slowly restructure a village of the '700, not far from Caneva, in Friuli. They begin with the vegetable garden and the vineyard, then they decide to invest in the reception by opening the Agriturismo Pancotto, awarded in 2018 as Best Peasant Cuisine. In 2011 they recover an abandoned hut, the Fossa di Sarone hut, where they produce award-winning cheeses with their alpine milk, and in summer they host children and young people for educational projects. The last step - for now - is the reopening of an old tavern on Passo La Crosetta.
Category Equipment and Clothing: Silex.
Looking for the vertical limit. Silex by Rock Experience is an ultra technical jacket created in close collaboration with the Ragni di Lecco, deep connoisseurs of the mountain. Ideal for ski touring and rock climbing, it is a heat-regulating garment, lightweight and breathable, which uses high-performance materials positioned thanks to body mapping. Each different area of the body is supported by different materials and fabrics, to adapt like a glove to every need. It weighs only 400 grams, folds into a pocket and always carries with it.
