Skitour and Ski experiences

Super 8

The Super 8 Ski Tour runs around Mt Averau and Mt Lagazuoi along an 8-shaped, 16-km long route on gentle and highly scenic ski runs with breathtaking views over the stunning Dolomite peaks all around: Tofana, Pelmo, Civetta, Marmolada, Fanes, Averau, 5 Torri, and Conturines.

One of the access areas of the Super 8 tour is the Col Gallina ski run,  part of  the Cortina Delicious Ski Training Centre together with the Lino Lacedelli ski run on the 5 Torri.

Not to be missed, the 7.5 km long Armentarola ski run: the spectacular ride  down from Mt Lagazuoi   to Alta Badia surrounded by spectacular snowclad mountains and past ice waterfalls. To top it off, the last flat stretch may be easily travelled by horse-drawn  tow.

The Great War Ski Tour

The Great War Tour develops along eighty kilometres of perfectly groomed ski runs, through historical highlights and stunning natural mountainscapes, across three Italian provinces and amid wonderful views of this UNESCO World heritage site.

In winter, the whole tour can be done in one day only. The route develops along the slopes of the Lagazuoi, 5 Torri, Arabba, Marmolada, and Civetta ski areas, over Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego, through Val Badia, Arabba, and Alleghe, and all around Col di Lana. Leaving early in the morning when lifts open is highly recommended, since the time required to complete the tour is estimated around 7/8 hours. (lunch break included).

Ski experience: Cortina - Alta Badia

Cortina Skyline, the brand new gondola  connecting the 5 Torri area (Bai de Dones) to the Tofane (Son dei Prade) - has brought Cortina and Alta Badia even closer. In the Dolomiti Superski area, the gondola has become a sort of bridge. The Cortina - Badia skiing experience starts from La Villa in Badia and the round trip is about four hours. However, we suggest starting as soon as lifts open so as to give you extra  time to enjoy some rest stops, appreciate a tasty meal, or even repeat some exciting runs.
