Pet friendly lift

Hiking with your dogs

Your four-legged friends are welcome  to take a ride to the top of the mountains on Cortina Skiworld lifts, provided all the adequate measures are duly respected.

On Faloria, Tofana, Averau, and  5 Torri lifts as well as on the three Ista chairlifts (Piè-Tofana – Duca d’Aosta, Duca d’Aosta – Pomedes, and Socrepes), dogs travel free of charge, regardless of their size. On the Lagazuoi cable car, dogs travel free of charge in case of guide dogs or small-sized dogs carried in the arms of their owners, in all the other cases a dedicated ticket needs to be purchased. Basically, two fundamental rules must be respected: dogs must be kept on the leash and must wear the muzzle.

ITINERARIES: In the mountains, there are numberless itineraries that can be travelled with your dogs, always kept on the leash and in compliance with the rules. For example, the bike path of the Dolomites, along the former railway, is a great option. In addition, there are many round trips, to name a few: the walk starting from Via del Parco parking area and leading to Campo, or the road leading to the amazing Prà de Castel meadows which continues uphill to visit the remains of the Podestagno Fortress or the ones of the St Ubertus villa. Higher altitude trails offer even more fun. With your dog, take the Freccia nel Cielo gondola up to Col Druscié and walk along the path towards Lake Ghedina, well known for its turquoise water. Alternatively, take the Faloria cable car up to Mandres intermediate station and walk along the trail leading to Fattoria Meneguto and Baita Fraina, the latter is one of the first settlements in the valley. Lastly, starting  from El Brite de Larieto farm restaurant, venture through one of the most wonderful larch forests in the Dolomites as far as a vantage spot to enjoy the stunning views of Mt Faloria, Mt Sorapis, and the Tofane group surrounding the Ampezzo valley.
