Preolympic mobility

09/01/2026

You too can play a part in supporting the preparations for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
Travel in a faster, stress-free and cost-free way: leave your car in the free parking areas and use the Ski Bus service, now even more frequent and well-organised.

As of Tuesday 7 January 2026, the Tofana – Freccia nel Cielo parking area is closed. This measure supports Cortina as it moves towards one of the most important moments in its sporting history and introduces new access arrangements to the area.

The Freccia nel Cielo cable car can now be reached exclusively by Ski Bus: a convenient, frequent and free service for valid skipass holders, designed to ensure smooth and stress-free access.

The high-altitude parking areas at Piè Tofana, Socrepes and Son dei Prade remain available.

🚍 Special Ski Bus Service – Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 January

To further facilitate access to Freccia nel Cielo, an additional Ski Bus service will operate on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 January, with a direct Acquabona – Freccia nel Cielo line.

The service will run with continuous return trips during the following time slots:

  • 08:00 – 13:00

  • 14:00 – 16:30

The shuttle will depart from the free Acquabona parking area, allowing guests to park their car and comfortably reach the cable car base station.

Ski Buses stop directly in front of the Freccia nel Cielo cable car departure area. The following lines can be used:

  • Line S31 (every 30 minutes): La Vera – Socrepes – Freccia nel Cielo

  • Line S34 (every 15 minutes): Town Centre – Faloria Cable Car – Freccia nel Cielo

📲 We recommend downloading the Ski Bus map so you always have all routes at hand and can easily choose the most convenient line based on your departure area.

At all bus stops and on the Ski Map, a QR code is available, allowing you to view real-time bus schedules and locations thanks to a new Ski Bus geolocation system.

Ski slopes and ski area opening

  • All slopes in the Tofana, Col Drusciè and Ra Valles areas will remain fully open until 25 January.

  • The Olympia slope will close from 12 January to allow for Olympic race preparations.

  • From 26 January to 15 March, the entire Tofane, Col Drusciè and Ra Valles ski area will be closed to the public.

During this period, all other lifts and slopes in Pocol, Faloria, Cristallo, Cinque Torri, Col Gallina and Lagazuoi will remain open without restrictions, ensuring a wide and complete ski offering throughout the season.
