The legendary Olympia delle Tofane slope, symbol of the 1956 Winter Olympics, took centre stage once again during the Cortina Ski Test 2025, held on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December, powered by Cortina ISTA Ski Area.
Two days dedicated to sport, innovation and passion for skiing attracted numerous enthusiasts to the foot of the historic Schuss, one of the most iconic sections in international alpine skiing. A venue steeped in history, already looking ahead to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, when Cortina d’Ampezzo will once again be in the global spotlight.
At an altitude of 2,100 metres, with breathtaking views over the Ampezzo valley and the majestic Tofane mountains, the Cortina Ski Test village hosted 16 leading international brands, offering visitors the opportunity to test the 2025/2026 season’s latest equipment free of charge, directly on the slopes and under ideal conditions.
A well-established and highly appreciated format, focused on hands-on experience: testing equipment, comparing different solutions and receiving personalised advice thanks to the constant presence of technicians and industry experts, available to skiers of all levels.
The Cortina Ski Test once again confirms itself as one of the most anticipated early-season winter events, strengthening the strong bond between Cortina d’Ampezzo, skiing and its Olympic heritage, while looking ahead with enthusiasm to the major event of 2026.
