On June 5th, 2025, the summer season begins on Mount Lagazuoi with the opening of the Lagazuoi cable car. A place rich in history, services, and attractions, it’s well worth visiting the Great War Open-Air Museum and the cultural center Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti. The Lagazuoi Refuge and the Lagazuoi Terrace Bar by Embassy warmly welcome all those who love hiking, climbing, and via ferrata routes.
The wonders of nature, art, culture, and history blend together at the summit of Mount Lagazuoi, at an altitude of 2,778 meters. It’s no coincidence that one of the highest exhibition galleries in the world was established here—an innovative space, a privileged observatory on the mountain world, and an internationally significant exhibition hub: Lagazuoi EXPO Dolomiti.
Rifugio Lagazuoi awaits you just 50 meters from the upper station of the cable car and a short distance from the summit of Piccolo Lagazuoi, easily accessible on foot or by cable car.
