The Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo, in collaboration with ASD Fairplay and the Cortina d’Ampezzo Foundation for the Elderly ETS, is organizing four awareness evenings open to the entire population of Cortina. These events will focus on the topics of disability, integration, and inclusiveness.
The aim is to spark reflection and foster a shared commitment to a topic that affects people of all ages and can impact any one of us, even temporarily.
Only by working together as a cohesive community can we reduce the barriers that hinder the full social, professional, and community inclusion of citizens with disabilities.
The first step is to initiate a community-wide discussion in Cortina on issues related to disability and healthy, active aging.
Each meeting will include a segment dedicated to personal care services and local organizations, with the aim of informing attendees about available resources and strengthening the network of groups involved in Cortina.
Thursday, April 3 at 8:30 PM – Introductory Evening
Thursday, April 10 at 8:30 PM – Disability in Childhood and Adolescence
Thursday, April 17 at 8:30 PM – Disability in Adulthood
Wednesday, April 23 at 8:30 PM – Disability in Old Age
