Safety on the slopes: 10 FIS rules for skiing safety.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all skiers, it is essential to follow some simple rules of conduct on the slopes. Cortina Skiworld invites all visitors to read and practice the 10 FIS rules of conduct for a day on skis in the name of tranquility and mutual respect.
1) Respect for others: every skier must behave in a way that does not endanger others.
2) Speed control: adjust the speed according to your ability and track conditions.
3) Choose the right trajectory: who goes down must choose the trajectory without creating risk for those in front.
4) Safe overtaking: you can overtake, but always keeping a safe distance.
5) Enter and depart carefully: always look upstream and make sure there are no obstacles before leaving.
6) Stop on the slopes: only at the edges of the slope and in visible places, never in narrow passages.
7) Climbing and descending on foot: if you have to walk, always do it along the edges of the track.
8) Follow signs and indications on the slopes.
9) In the event of an accident: provide assistance and alert security personnel immediately.
10) Identification: in the event of an accident, those involved must provide their personal details.
