Cortina 2021: FIS confirms the World Championships race schedule

FIS, the International Ski Federation, confirmed the official race calendar for next season’s World Cup and the schedule for the races in the upcoming FIS Alpine World Ski Championships that will be held in Cortina d’Ampezzo from 7 to 21 February 2021. The confirmation comes in the wake of the decision taken last July not to postpone the event.

Top Alpine skiers will be back to put on a spectacular show just right under the Tofane mountains. The World Championships also mark the much-awaited return of men’s skiing on the snow-covered slopes of the Queen of the Dolomites, after an absence of thirty years.

  • Sunday 7 February: Opening Ceremony of FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Cortina 2021
  • Monday 8 February: Alpine Combined Women
  • Tuesday 9 February: Super G Women and Super G Men
  • Wednesday 10 February: Alpine Combined Men
  • Thursday 11 February: Training Downhill Women, Training Downhill Men
  • Friday 12 February: Training Downhill Men, Training Downhill Women
  • Saturday 13 February: Downhill Women
  • Sunday 14 February: Downhill Men
  • Monday 15 February: Rest day
  • Tuesday 16 February: Qualification Parallel, Finals Parallel
  • Wednesday 17 February: Team Parallel
